A Royal Mail post box has gone missing from an east Norfolk village.

The red Royal Mail post box attached to a telegraph pole opposite paddocks on Rectory Road in Sutton, near Stalham, went missing last week.

Police believe it was stolen at some point between 10.20am on December 14 and 6pm on December 17.

The post box had the numbers ‘1289’ on it.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, saw suspicious behaviour or has information on what happened is asked to call PC Jonathan Rayner at Stalham police station on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
