A man who went missing from his home in King’s Lynn in December has been found dead, police confirmed tonight.
Officers said a body found at Gibraltar Point, in Lincolnshire, on Thursday, had been identified as that of Daren Siggins, 39, who was last seen at his home in North Lynn on December 22.
A bird watcher made the discovery at 11.50am. Police said the body had been in the water for some time.
Mr Siggins’s family travelled to Hunstanton and Sheringham to look for him after he disappeared. He last spoke to them by telephone on December 27.
When police went to his home, they found his medication and mobile phone. A coroner’s investigation will now take place into his death.
Police in Lincolnshire are still searching for David Le-Man, who was last seen near Gibraltar Point, on Monday, February 4.
A spokesman said: “We remain gravely concerned for the welfare of Mr Le-Man and take this opportunity to renew appeals for any information concerning his whereabouts.”
Hundreds of people have helped search the sand dunes for any sign of Mr le-Man, 51, who went missing after going out for a walk with his dog, Millie, who was later found with her lead and collar attached.
Anyone with information should contact Lincolnshire Police on 101.
Terrorism returned to the streets of London today as two suspected Muslim fanatics butchered a man in broad daylight in the name of “Allah”.
