Police are appealing for information after at least eight vehicles had their tyres deliberately punctured in Bungay.

The incidents happened overnight on Friday and Saturday.

In Joyce Road two tyres on a Toyota Carina, four tyres on a Vauxhall Corsa, a tyre on a Renault Master and a tyre on a Volkswagen Gulf were damaged.

In Bigod Road a tyre on a Vauxhall Astra, a tyre on a Vauxhall Corsa and a tyre on a Vauxhall Meriva were damaged along with four tyres on a Peugeot 306 on Hillside Road West.

Some of the vehicles were parked on driveways and officers believe a knife was used to cause the damage.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious in any of these areas or has any information about the incidents should call PC Richard Bemment at Halesworth Police Station on 101 quoting reference BE/14/904, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
