Police are appealing for information following a spate of thefts and burglaries in Beccles at the weekend.
The first incident happened between 6pm on Saturday and 10am on Sunday when a tool box containing several tools was stolen from a garage on Darby Road.
Then between 8pm on Saturday evening and 10.15am on Sunday morning a garage door was forced open in Ballygate, although nothing appears to have been taken.
A 4 horsepower marine engine, standard shaft, was stolen from a Ford Mondeo parked at a boat yard on Northgate between 7pm on Saturday and 9.40am on Sunday. One of the car windows was smashed and the engine was stolen.
Two sheds were broken into between 5pm on Saturday and 9am on Sunday in Puddingmoor, and a Johnson 3.5 horsepower engine was stolen.
A Vauxhall Vectra, an iPad, a passport and driving documents were stolen from a property on Saltgate between 6pm on Saturday and 8.45am on Sunday. Entry to the property was gained via the garage. The Vectra was later recovered from the wooded area of Beccles Common.
A shed was broken into in Northgate between 5pm on Saturday and 12.30pm on Sunday, although nothing appears to have been taken.
A garage was broken into at a property in Northgate between 5.30pm on Saturday and 8.30am on Sunday. Offenders removed bicycle tyres from the garage, and motorcycle boots that were inside a vehicle in the garage. Both the tyres and boots were recovered from the front of the house in the street, police believe the items were placed there to be collected.
And a garage adjoining to a property was broken into in Northgate between 5pm on Saturday and 8.30am on Sunday, although the offenders did not gain entry to the home and nothing was taken from the garage.
