Police are appealing for information about a collision on the A149 near King’s Lynn.

It happened on Queen Elizabeth Way between Knights Hill and Castle Rising at about 4pm on Sunday, when the driver of a silver Citroen Saxo was forced to take action to avoid a car travelling in the opposite direction.

This resulted in the Saxo leaving the road and coming to rest in a ditch with the driver and passenger suffering minor injuries.

The crash left the road partially-blocked for around an hour, delaying traffic.

Police want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information concerning it should call PC Laura Shreeve at King’s Lynn Police Station on 101.
