Police appeal after pedestrian killed in Watton

Police are appealing for information after a man in his 30s died whilst walking along a road in Watton.

At around 12.30pm yesterday a black Mitsubishi 4x4 pick-up was travelling towards Thetford on the A1075 close to the junction with Low Common Road and Wayland Woods when it was involved in a collision with the man, who was from the local area.

Police are investigating the incident and want to speak to anyone who may have seen a man walking in the area or the seen the Mitsubishi before to the collision.

The 29-year-old woman driver of the Mitsubishi is from the Kent area has been assisting officers with their enquiries.

No arrests have been made.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team at Norfolk Constabulary on 101.
