Games consoles and gadgets have been snatched by burglars after they ransacked a house in Mildenhall.

A Sony Playstation 3, an Apple iPad mini, an Apple iPod Nano and a pair of Nike Air Max trainers were among the items taken from the house in Macpherson Robertson Way. The incident is believed to have taken placed between 10pm on Monday and 6am the following morning.

Detectives have urged residents to lock their doors following the incident, with the thieves entering through an insecure rear patio door.

The victim’s car was also searched and items of clothing were stolen from inside.
