Police have appealed for information after a pig was stolen from a field in the Dunwich Forest area between 7pm on Thursday, October 11 and 8.30am on Saturday, October 13.

It is thought the 80kg female pig was killed and dragged from the field – possibly to a vehicle that was waiting on the Westleton Road.

● Police are asking anyone who was in the area between these times to come forward if they noticed any suspicious activity or vehicles.

Anyone with information about the theft, or those responsible, is asked to call PC 356 Metcalf on 101.
