The fun side of Shrove Tuesday was enjoyed at Norwich Cathedral with a pancake race this afternoon.
Teams gathered to take part in the pancake race on Lower Close Green, in front of the cathedral, with vice-dean and precentor, Jeremy Haselock, acting as master of ceremonies.
The races were contested by teams of choristers and staff, all determined to show off their skills with a frying pan.
They also got to enjoy some of the pancakes, courtesy of catering staff from RAF Marham, who were on hand to dish out the pancakes with a variety of different toppings.
