Members of the Iceni Partnership are due to meet tomorrow to decide if the festival, which was funded by the Breckland Rural Development Programme, has a future.

It was held for the first time yesterday when crowds gathered in Market Place to watch six hours of live music.

Kate Francis, from the Iceni Partnership, said: “Things have gone well, we’ve had a good turnout and lots of support. We hope to run it as a two-day festival next year but that will be decided at Tuesday’s meeting.”

The festival is one of several new events held in Swaffham this year to boost the town’s economy.
