Motorists took it carefully on the roads this morning as they woke up to the aftermath of a weekend of heavy rain and snow.
The white stuff remained on the ground but while there were reports of delays on the A140 between Long Stratton and Diss, there were no accidents reported in the area on Monday morning.
Persistent, heavy rain on Friday night and Saturday had left the ground saturated, before snow set in and temperatures plummeted.
Fire crews were called out to reports of flooding in the cellar of a house in Forncett yesterday (Sunday) evening, and several people were rescued from their cars on Saturday as they became stuck in flood water.
The forecast for the remainder of the day today was for snow flurries and for the cold temperatures to remain.
