As the first snow of the year has settled on Great Yarmouth our photographer James Bass has been out and about capturing the winter scenes.
The Highland cows at Halvergate seemed right at home in the frost and ice, while fluffy sheep were almost lost among the white winter scene.
Youngsters have also been enjoying the first flakes of winter by digging out their sledges and zipping down the dunes at Caister.
Police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in a garden pond today.

Nice photos from James. Minor point though, can't Archants web designers make the picture gallery display better? I have to scroll up everytime and some pictures show bigger than the screen. I want to just be able to scroll through, one click!
