Day one of the Royal Norfolk Show has been hailed a success as crowds flocked to the show to make the most of the fine weather.
Thousands of people visited the hundreds of attractions, ranging from lifestock and farming to fashion and food.
With the Earl of Wessex as this year’s show president and displays in the grand ring ranging from horses to motorbike stunts the show celebrated its 60th anniversary at the Costessey site in style.
Visitors ate, shopped learned and made the most of the display of rare breeds, showing classes and horse competitions.
Online figures this morning showed booking numbers were up 100pc on last year, and with tomorrow set to be another fine day, hopes are high for a successful day two of the show.
