The skies above Norwich were streaked with the colours of Union flag this lunchtime as the Red Arrows arrived in style.
The world famous aerobatics team performed a flypast at the request of Seasons Catering in Hellesdon, which is celebrating its 10th birthday, before looping and swooping in to land at Norwich Airport.
The Reepham Road sandwich shop has links to the Red Arrows, having provided food to them on their many visits to Norfolk over recent years, and coordinated their 10th birthday to coincide with the planes’ arrival for the Clacton Air Show.
More than 50 friends, family and customers of the business turned out to watch the display yesterday lunchtime.
See tomorrow’s Eastern Daily Press and Norwich Evening News for more on this story, and a gallery of photographs from the flypast.
