There has been a light dusting of snow across towns, villages and fields in north Norfolk today.

No major problems have been caused because of the weather and traffic on the A140 Cromer to Norwich was not affected during rush-hour.

Roads around Stalham and North Walsham have not been affected either.

A small amount of snow has covered fields near Happisburgh and the village’s iconic lighthouse looked impressive against the winter backdrop.

No schools in the area have closed.

Heavier snowfall across the county is predicted for later today but coastal spots from Great Yarmouth to Cromer and Sheringham are expected to see less snow.

More updates to follow.
