The Holkham Estate has been dreaming of a very different white Christmas this year.

Instead of natural white flakes falling from the sky – the stately home got a special sprinkling of spray snow to get into the festive spirit.

Around 40 cut trees used in the Statue Gallery at the hall have been covered in artificial flakes ready for the Christmas events being held over the next two weekends.

Holkham is open for the Christmas celebrations on the weekends of December 7 and 8 and December 14 and 15 from 10am to 5pm each day, with the hall opening at 11am and last entry at 4pm.

Tickets are £15 for adults and £10 for children (2–16 years) or £45 for a family of two adults and two children and each child’s ticket includes a visit to Father Christmas and a small gift.
