A music festival has brought fun and laughter to the bank holiday weekend.

Trunchonbury is taking place over the weekend from Friday through to Sunday at The Paddock, Mundesley Road in Trunch.

The family-friendly weekend in the middle of the north Norfolk village has included a variety of music, an acoustic stage, dance tent and main stage and a camp site for tents and campervan pitches.

It also includes a show by Roy Davenport, from Davenport’s Magic Kingdom in North Walsham, a healing field, food and boutique stalls, beer tent, workshops, children’s puppet show, circus acts, cinema tent and Buddhist tent.

Steve Randall, who along with his wife Karen, is one of the organisers of the festival, said: “It has been amazing and a lot of hard work, it has been about nine months preparing and having lots of meetings, we have a really good core of about 34 people helping out.”

The festival was started by Steve and Karen in 2005 as a garden party in the village and it was expanded in 2009, attracting 800 people and raising £3,500 for the Big C cancer charity in Norfolk.
