Almost 100 students aged 15 and 16 flocked to the school to celebrate the end of their school year and say goodbye for the summer.

Sheringham High School head boy Gabriel Askew, who travelled to the prom in style in a Range Rover, said the dance floor was filled when the band took to the stage.

He said: “I certainly stood up to have a dance. One of the reasons why we held the prom at the school was to give everyone a chance to get together.”

Gabriel, 16, is leaving the school to attend Wymondham College next year.

  • I am assuming the fire engine is a privately owned "vintagerestored" one by the reg number -what about the Police Van?
