Fans of the fictional radio and television presenter Alan Partridge lined Sheringham High Street today (Wednesday) to catch a glimpse of their comedy hero.
Filming for the Alan Partridge movie continued and involved the Radio Norwich van being pursued by police cars and blue flashing lights.
Actor Steve Coogan, who plays the love him or loathe him character, sat in the back of the radio van while another character held a gun in his direction.
Nearly 50 extras from Sheringham were used and they held banners which included messages Day Off the Partridge and Go Alan.
Lifelong fan Simone Harper, 40, was in the crowd and said it was “brilliant” the movie was filmed in north Norfolk.
Filming continues around Norwich Market Place tomorrow and Friday.
Terrorism returned to the streets of London today as two suspected Muslim fanatics butchered a man in broad daylight in the name of “Allah”.
