Spectators were ready with flags in hand as The Tour of Britain made its way through the Broads villages through Hoveton and on towards Norwich.
People lined the streets near to Hoveton and Wroxham railway station with camping chairs, and some had even brought their own picnics while waiting for the cyclists to make their appearance.
The break-away group were first to appear to the sound of cheers and whooping from the crowd, followed soon after by the rest of the racers.
Richard and Sylvie Taylor from Norwich had come to see the race with their two children, Aidan, nine, and Erin, six.
Mr Taylor said: “The children really want to see the Sky team, Bradley Wiggins and Mark Cavendish it is what they have been saying since this morning.”
