From riding a unicycle to walking the tightrope – youngsters had fun learning impressive acrobatics other the tricks at a special circus school.
A total of 33 young people aged five to 16-years-old took part in the four days of Circus Chermond workshops which ran from Monday to Thursday last week at Chermond Gymnastics and Activity Centre, in Delta Close, Norwich.
Circus Chermond is linked to the Chermond School of Gymnastics.
Cherie Alcock, from Chermond, said: 'They learned everything from juggling to cloud swings to the trapeze to globe walking.
'It was great to see how much progress they all made over the four days – they were brilliant.'
As well as holding workshops, each summer Circus Chermond also presents a circus show at the Hippodrome in Great Yarmouth.
Last year's show had a Wizard of Oz theme and was called CirQue Oz.
Preparations are now beginning for this year's show, which will be on June 28 and be called A Circus For All Seasons.
While many youngsters take part in the Circus Chermond workshops just for fun, it can also be start of a career in performance – five former members of Circus Chermond are currently working in circuses across the country and one is working in Stockholm.
The Chermond Gymnastics Club was founded in 1980 by Cherie and Raymond Alcock, taking its name from a combination of their first names.
