The traditional trolley dash had to make way for some flipping fun as Sainsbury's staff egged each other on in a pancake race today.
Shoppers stood and watched as 16 people lined up for the testing course next to the aisles at the store on North Walsham's Bacton Road.
The race was won by human resources clerk Roz Kidd.
The store's PR ambassador, Tracy Sadler, said: 'The store is supporting Comic Relief's Red Nose Day. We kicked off the fundraising this week with the pancake race.
'It's the first time we've done it, but it was great fun and it could become an annual event.'
Mrs Sadler said the decision was taken not to have the course around the aisles 'just in case'.
