Thousands of people have headed to Gorleston's clifftop for town's annual summer festival.
The tried and tested combination of fairground rides, music, food and family fun ensured Gorleston Clifftop Festival was a summery success.
The annual event, with a few added extras for 2014, drew thousands of people to the coastline this weekend. And while sunbathers and swimmers enjoyed themselves on the beach below, the cliffop was a hive of activity thanks to a jam-packed bill.
There was an emphasis on events for children this year; youngsters had their own arena where they enjoyed a traditional Punch and Judy show, t-shirt painting, inflatables and free cycling workshops laid on by the Great Yarmouth Bike Project.
Other highlights included a companion dog show yesterday and motorcycle stunts from the Wall of Death display team.
Today, after a cloudy start to the morning, crowds soaked up sunshine while watching living history and battle displays from the Wuffa Viking and Saxon Re-enactment Society and trying out keep fit equipment in the wellbeing and sports arena courtesy of BWell Gym. The day also hosted the Embrace fun run in aid of Gorleston's Louise Hamilton Centre for pallitive care.
Live music came from bands including Walkway and the Gorleston Community Choir.
Vicky Webber, from the organising team, said: 'It's been absolutely brilliant, especially the weather which we really depend on. There have been huge crowds in the children's arena all weekend.We're really pleased.'
The festival will draw to a close at 10pm last night with a fireworks display opposide the ravine.
