A trio of teenagers dressed up as Barbie dolls in boxes were one of the highlights of the magical Aylsham High School Prom.
The event for year 11 leavers, which started 10 years ago, was held at Wolterton Hall and was enjoyed by 195 pupils in elegant dresses and smart suits.
A variety of vehicles, including a Volkswagen campervan decorated as the 'banter bus', fire engine, Ferrari cars and vintage motors were just some of the vehicles used to transport the students aged 15 and 16.
Prom organiser Susie Hebditch, head of German at Aylsham high, said: 'When I started the prom 10 years ago I wanted the pupils' last memory of school to be lovely, not of an exam room. The students appreciate being able to see everyone again.'
She described the night on Saturday as an important rite of passage.
Aylsham high was the first north Norfolk school to organise a year 11 leavers' prom and Miss Hebditch added within two years of the first Aylsham event, other schools were putting on similar nights.
It has always been held at Wolterton Hall and pupils help raise money for the prom. This year £300 of cash raised went towards Water Aid.
The prize for best arrival went towards three girls dressed as Barbie dolls who were helped to the door by their fathers.
One was dressed as hippy Barbie and another was posh Barbie.
Music was provided by North Walsham band Dawg House and fireworks were let off.
The prom prince and princess were Jack Cleaver, known as Sir Jack Cleaver, and Brogan Quinn; prom king and queen were Jamie Laville and Zina Wells.
Head boy and head girl Ben Howes and Elizabeth Cooper for 2013/14 were also celebrated in the prize-giving.
