Peter Andre meets fans who queued from 4.30am at signing event in Norwich

Peter Andre proved he is still a star in Norwich when he drew crowds of more than 100 to a signing event in Castle Mall.

The Mysterious Girl pop singer was at The Perfume Shop on Saturday to sell his new scent Forever and Forever Young.

Barmaid Bethany Spring, 18, arrived at 4.30am to be first in the queue with friend Tara Godfrey, 20, a kitchen porter.

“This will be the third time we’ve met him and I’ve seen him eight times,” said Miss Spring. “I just think he’s a genuine guy - and he’s good looking.”

Further back in the queue was mum-of-four Shelley Cawkill, 38, of Mundford.

She had met Peter Andre five times before, and at a previous meeting he wrote “Always smile no matter what, Peter Andre” on her arm.

She since had it tattooed to her.

“Believe it or not I’ve liked him since I was 15,” she said. “He’s a family man and he’s not cocky.”

  • Would like to say a big big thank you to Anita Wilson who pushed me out of the way to get into the front of the line when I had been standing there for a quite some time! I am obviously not important because I am small quiet and have manners! Manners is something you clearly lack!
