Police remain at the scene of a serious collision between two cars and two passengers in Terrington St John near Wisbech.

A police spokesman said the accident happened at approximately 2.15pm when two cars - a Kia and a BMW 116 were in collision with the two pedestrians on the A47 duel carriageway near to the petrol station.

The collision was on the southbound carriageway heading from Wisbech towards King’s Lynn.

All emergency services were on hand including Air Ambulance.

The A47 remains closed southbound from the sliproad at Terrington St John and across that part of the dual carriageway.
