Police are appealing for witnesses after a crash in Hethersett left a pedestrian with serious injuries.
The incident happened on the B1172 Norwich Road between 7.30pm and 7.45pm on Wednesday, August 27, around 12 metres south from the entrance to the Church Farm Shop.
The pedestrian, a recovery driver, was working behind his recovery vehicle when the incident happened.
Investigating officer, PC Wendy Frary, said: “It is possible that the driver of the vehicle involved was unaware that a collision happened and may have collided the pedestrian without knowing.
“This vehicle would have been travelling towards Wymondham and we’re keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information concerning it.”
The man, aged in his 40s, was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with serious head, chest and pelvic injuries.
Police closed the road while emergency services dealt with the incident and it was re-opened just after 11.30pm.
Witnesses should contact PC Frary at Wymondham Roads Policing on 101.
