Norwich Quakers and others affiliated to Norwich Peace Camp are celebrating the annual Peace One Day United Nations International Ceasefire Day today.
Between 10am and midday there was singing, drumming and story-telling in Hay Hill, and a silent vigil was held. There were also leaflets and an information stall on offer.
While at 8pm tonight a film will be shown telling the story of Peace One Day at the Quaker Meeting House in Upper Goat Lane. All are welcome and Foodcycle will serve a free meal from 7pm, although donations are welcome.
Peace One Day has online teaching materials and Norwich Quakers can offer workshops leaders to local schools and groups.
