One lane of A11 near Thetford reopened after lorry jack-knifes

One lane of the northbound A11 near Thetford has been reopened after a lorry jack-knifed this morning.

The northbound carriageway was closed between the Sainsbury’s roundabout and the A134 Brandon Road junction after the incident was reported to police at 8.50am.

The lorry caused damage to the central reservation and was moved at 9.30am, when one lane was reopened.

The second lane remains closed while debris is cleared from the scene.

Diversions are in place through Thetford.
