Adam Sheppard, Imogen Clarke and Laura Nightingale took part in the 24 hour fitness on Thursday, 5 and Friday, 6 April along with members of the gym and several family members.

Mr Sheppard, said: 'The event went very well, each one of the personal trainers covered a distance greater than two marathons. 'We have raised over £900 already just in cash donations, so have increased our target to £1,500.

'As a challenge this is the toughest one any of us have undertaken, and we couldn't have done it without the teamwork and support of everyone who got involved. There's definitely a real sense of achievement that has set in over the weekend and we've already started talking about what we can do next.'
