A Norwich Theatre Royal pantomime star swapped treading the boards for reading storybooks as he entertained youngsters at Norwich’s Millennium Library.

He said: “I read the original story of Aladdin and the children didn’t just listen, I encouraged them to join in with actions, getting them to pull faces and do some miming to the story.
“They were great little actors.
“I think it’s really important to make the children feel fully involved, and watching their little faces light up made it a great success.”
Terrorism returned to the streets of London today as two suspected Muslim fanatics butchered a man in broad daylight in the name of “Allah”.
