Adam Moore, from Horns Lane, went to the Feathers pub in Aylsham with a friend on November 23, but he became separated and did not know how to get home.

Moore, who represented himself at Norwich magistrates’ court today, pleaded guilty to being drunk and incapable.

Moore said: “I was in Aylsham, and I’m not used to Aylsham, as I’m from the city.

“We’d been drinking quite a bit, and I was not allowed to be served in the pub, because I’d fallen over someone and been asked to leave.

“I tried to get into the pub to get my friend, as I did not know how to get home, but I could not enter the premises again. It won’t happen again and you won’t see me again.”

Moore was handed a 12-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay £30 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
