The man, Ben Moore, of Bowers Avenue, in Mile Cross, was arrested at the court at 1.20pm on Thursday.

The 39-year-old was kept in custody overnight on suspicion of common assault at the court before being charged yesterday morning.

He has been charged with assault on a court security officer and given conditional bail.

He has now been ordered to appear at Norwich Magistrates Court on Thursday, November 8 to face the charge.

It is not clear why Moore was in court, as he wasn’t listed on official court lists to appear before magistrates on the day.
