A man accused of stealing more than £900 from his employer in Costessey pleaded “not guilty” at Norwich Magistrates Court today.

Darren Wright, 39, of Penn Road, Taverham, has been charged with theft by employee from Longwater Construction Supplies, based at William Frost Way, totalling £913.20p between May 31 2012 and June 6 2012.

The charge relates to the theft of a quantity of gravel, bark and fencing.

The case has been committed to Norwich Crown Court on December 5.
