It’s as precious and soft as the newborn herself.
A cashmere blanket made to commemorate the birth of Princess Charlotte of Cambridge is on sale for those who want something extra special for their little loved one.
Designer and namesake Charlotte Dean created the design, Fair Isle pattern with a crown motif, to mark the arrival of the royal baby.
Mrs Dean set up her business in the back garden of her home in Heigham Road, Norwich, 22 years ago.
Her creations have been sold all over the world to customers including A-list celebrities and European royalty.
The 56-year-old said: “I want the babies to really enjoy the blankets, not just for it to be an heirloom.”
The blanket costs £155 and can be personalised with the baby’s name and date of birth.
