Norwich City winger Robert Snodgrass has welcomed the most precious of deliveries following the birth of his second child.
The Scottish international took to Twitter yesterday to announce the birth of a baby daughter with a picture saying: “new addition to the family, baby snodgrass is here at last !!! And feeding herself already.” The footballer tweeted another photo of him holding his baby in an operating theatre, adding: “Thank you for all your lovely messages.”
The player’s partner, Denise McKenzie, was involved in a car crash in Glasgow in July where she was taken to hospital as a precaution.
She was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary after crashing through railings on July 30, which caused Snodgrass to miss a pre-season match against Brighton because of family reasons. The couple now have two daughters.
Snodgrass is due to play for Scotland in a World Cup qualifying match against Croatia on Tuesday.
