As part of its anniversary festivities the Norwich venue is giving away 10 free ‘arty parties’ to youngsters who are also moving into double figures.

Toni Bentley, education and inclusion manager at The Garage, said: “We know that turning 10 is a big deal – whether you are an organisation like us celebrating achievements and looking forward, or a child starting that all-important journey into double figures. Our 10th Birthday year is all about sharing the celebrations with friends so we thought that there was no better way to kick this off then offering the chance for 10-year-olds to have a free birthday party for them and their friends on us – after all, a decade of existence is worth shouting about!”

Each arty party will include a specially choreographed dance for the birthday boy or girl and their friends, taught by a professional dance tutor, and a performance to friends and family. The birthday boy or girl will also be given one of The Garage’s hoody and a birthday certificate, and guests will be given a party bag full of goodies. Young people who will turn 10 between October 1 2014 and September 30 2015 are eligible to be entered in the competition by their parents or guardians.

To enter, email competitions@thegarage.org.uk with your child’s name and your telephone number and email address. Alternatively, post entries into the competition box in The Garage’s reception. The deadline is August 31 at 5pm. For more about The Garage visit www.thegarage.org.uk.
