Staff on bmi flights from Norwich Airport will don pink outfits for a month in the name of charity.

bmi regional is taking part in the Fly Pink campaign in October, which raises awareness and funds for Cancer Research UK.

Captains, first officers and cabin crew will wear pink lanyards, badges and epaulettes on bmi regional flights that month.

Other departments within bmi regional, including engineering, commercial and finance departments, will also join the fundraising effort.

During the campaign, customers of the airline will be encouraged to support it by donating money via a Just Giving Page, accessed through www.flybmi.com

Passengers can fly to Aberdeen from Norwich with bmi regional three times a day.

Kate Constance, local fundraising manager for Cancer Research UK, said: “Every donation made will help save lives.”
