Police in Norwich are warning cyclists to be vigilant after thefts in the city centre.
Since January 1, 14 bikes have been stolen, with thieves forcing many from racks including St Giles Street, Little London Street, Hay Hill, Bank Plain and St Peters Street.
Officers are urging cyclists to use good quality locks and report any incidents of suspicious activity to police.
It can take just a few seconds for a thief to steal a bike, demonstrated in the Norfolk Police crime prevention video #ProperLockIt.
The YouTube video aims to encourage cyclists to think more about security by showing the speed and ease at which bikes can be stolen.
Meanwhile, police are appealing for information after a black and yellow Carrera Zelos locked to a wooden fence on the footpath at Taylors Row near Hemming Way was stolen between 7pm and midnight on Monday, January 6.
