Friends, family and football fans are preparing to raise hundreds of pounds for a brain tumour charity in honour of a Norwich model.
Brave Kerri Parker is an entrepreneur and runs one of the UK's biggest model training schools.
But in October she was dealt devastating news – she had a brain tumour and the 4cm growth would need to be operated on.
Now just two weeks after the removal the 30-year-old former Dereham Neatherd High School student has an anxious wait to see if it grows back and if she will need chemotherapy.
To celebrate her strength and show the community how inspirational Miss Parker is, men from both Dereham and Norwich will play in a football match in May to raise cash for Brain Tumour Research.
Friends and family are training every Sunday at Neatherd High School in preparation for the game and family fun day.
Miss Parker said she has been touched by people's support and generosity since her diagnosis.
Her mum Kathleen Parker, who lives in Dereham, said brain tumour charities do not have enough funding and hopes this event will encourage more people to donate.
She said: 'The thing about the type of cancer Kerri has got is that it can come back even more aggressive. That's the thing she is finding hard to come to terms with. But she is so strong and she won't let anything beat her.'
Husband and wife, Vanessa and Neil Burrell, decided to organise the game at Aldiss Park in Dereham to raise awareness about the condition.
Countless local businesses have donated everything from football kits to a photo booth and bouncy castle for the day.
Mr Burrell praised the spirit of the people of Dereham in getting behind the event.
'People really want to do something,' he said. 'Dereham people especially keep giving, and that's fantastic.'
One of the players Ben Greig, 24, has known Miss Parker for the last three years. He said: 'It's all about raising awareness and showing our support for Kerri.'
The football game and family fun day is on May 4, kick off is at 1pm.
Entry is £5 for adults, £3 for children, and £15 for a family ticket.

The teams train every Sunday at Dereham Neatherd High School on Norwich Road from 10.30am until 11.30am.
