Norwich circus stars are head over heels at London launch

A Norwich based circus company were the star attraction in the London launch of a year-long celebration of circus in the UK.
Lost in Translation, based at The Oak Circus Centre in Norwich, gave a dazzling display of acrobatics on London’s Southbank with the Houses of Parliament as their backdrop.
The year-long national wide event, called Circus250, is celebrating the 250th anniversary of circus.
Starting in 2018, across the UK and Ireland contemporary,traditional circuses and more will be celebrating the anniversary with performance, exhibitions, and concerts, with events in Norwich as one of the main circus centres for the UK.
Massimiliano Rosetti from Lost in Translation said: “We’re really looking to putting Norwich and Norfolk firmly on the circus map next year with some stunning events.”
The full programme will be announced in October 2017.
