Norwich artist Andrew Reeve is transforming his home into a gallery and inviting the public round for a cup of tea.

Mr Reeve will open his St Benedicts Street flat to the public every weekend in October and is calling the project ArtFlat. He was inspired after he and his wife Emma visited the studio and workshop of the late Catalan artist Joan Miró in Mallorca.

Mr Reeve, a Norwich 20 Group member and a Norwich University of the Arts graduate, said: 'Opening our home to people seems a very nice way for them to see and purchase work, which in turn helps the creative process...It's a great way for people to ask questions about art and being able to share what little knowledge I have is of immense pleasure. Plus there is the benefit of free tea and coffee.'

• ArtFlat is every Saturday and Sunday in October 12pm-3pm at 44c St Benedicts Street. Visit www.andy-reeve.com/artflat
