Wheelie bin collections throughout north Norfolk are continuing today after disruption, which began on January 16, caused by the weather.

A spokesman said collections had taken place every day except last Friday, but some places had been inaccessible because of ice and access problems off main roads.

He added: “Garden waste collections have been suspended so that the vehicles involved can assist in the waste catch up. We are hoping that everything will be back to normal by January 28.”
