People with multiple sclerosis (MS) will benefit thanks to a £3,400 donation from a Masonic lodge, raised as part of a milestone year for the organisation.
Freemasons from the North Walsham Lodge of Unanimity fundraised for the Life and Multiple Sclerosis (Lams) day group, which meets weekly at the Southrepps Village Hall.
Bob Wilkinson, outgoing 'Worshipful Master' from the lodge, presented the donation to the group.
Ian Walker, the lodge's charity steward, said: '2017 has been a special year, as the United Grand Lodge of England celebrated its 300th anniversary.
'Masonic lodges up and down the country donate millions of pounds to charities, medical research and good causes every year and it's great to be a member of such a historic and charitable organisation.'
Sue Wright, group co-ordinator, said the money would go towards running the group, as well as activities and an outing or two.
