Flight Sergeant (FS) David Worboys, a former pupil of Sheringham High School, said: “We are looking forward to starting the 2018 display season and representing the RAF at events throughout the UK during the prestigious RAF100 celebrations.”

The RAF Falcons, the UK’s premier military parachute display team, have completed a busy period of winter training in preparation for the 2018 display season, which starts on April 27 with the team’s launch day at their base, RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire.

FS Worboys’ responsibilities will include the training of all parachutists for the 2018 season and guiding the team through its training schedule and display season. He joined the RAF in 1998 as a physical training instructor, became parachute jumping instructor and joined airborne delivery wing in 2001.
