A Norfolk MP is doing his bit to raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health by taking part in Movember.
Mid Norfolk MP George Freeman is sporting an impressive growth above his top lip as part of an annual campaign for men to grow a moustache for prostate cancer and testicular cancer charities in November.
The Conservative MP said: “I am supporting Movember to raise awareness for cancer and to highlight just how devastating the disease is for so many families out there. My father died at only 62 while I was still at university and my mother-in-law died recently, through my own experience I know just how much of a tragedy cancer can be for those involved and want to raise as much as I can through becoming a Mo Bro.”
“It’s noticeable how effective my moustache is at getting men talking about prostate cancer and highlighting the need to get that early check up to ensure effective treatment. With new ways to accelerate cancer research, we can raise patient awareness and look towards a brighter future.”
