A man has suffered suspected burns to his face after an accident involving a car battery.

The East of England Ambulance Service (EEAS) was called at 2.47pm today to the incident in Long Stratton.

An EEAS spokesman said: “The man was in his 20s and we suspect he suffered burns to his face that are not life-threatening. He was transported to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further treatment.”
