A woman was airlifted to hospital today after she fell from a horse and seriously injured her head.
The 18-year-old was airlifted by the East Anglian Air Ambulance following the accident in Ingham.
Dr Dan Devin, Dr Michele Zasa and paramedic Jemma Varela were flown to the scene by Captain Chris Sherriff aboard Anglia Two at 11.20am and landed in a field next to the accident.
The medical team treated her with the East of England Ambulance Service, before she was airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.
