A Norfolk treasure which has been lovingly restored is set to enjoy a piece of the limelight tonight when it appears on national television.
The Panhard et Levassor, a Victorian car which was built in 1899, will be part of a feature on BBC One’s The One Show.
Staff at Gressenhall Workhouse and Museum, near Dereham, were asked if the car could appear on the popular magazine show as part of piece on Formula E. The show will look back at the history of motor racing, including the round-Britain 1,000 mile rally of 1900. The Panhard is the last remaining car from that race.
