The London 2012 Olympics may have finished but there is still an unusual reminder of the Games that has been on display in Norwich this week.

A new piece of street art has appeared in Pottergate, opposite Strangers Coffee House, with the signature of notorious Norwich street artist ‘J’ attached.

The street art depicts a homeless person wrapped in a Union Jack flag with the headline in gold above the person reading ‘Britain wins gold’.

A small coin-collecting box is then placed in front of the person, with the Olympic rings logo and the phrase ‘homeless endurance event’.

The same street artist has previously also created drawings in Lower Goat Lane and another piece in Pottergate asking ‘why do you do this every single day?’.
